BIOGRAPHY
Instruments: 6 and 7 string guitar, bass guitar
Origin: Maryland, USA
Chris started on guitar back in 1978 after his mom and brother had randomly started taking lessons at the local music store. Previously, he had played the saxophone from fourth to eighth grade, but didn't find much to relate to in the hard rock genre. The guitar was a bit more relavent to his new musical world, and his curiosity lead to him picking up on some chords and notes out of their lesson books. He eventually gave in and signed up for some lessons, and never looked back.
After playing in various original and cover bands, Antrim in the 1980's, Jinn Men and The Hairy Catfish in the 1990's, and the Steve Hill Band, John Rousey and the Revelators in the 2000's, he finally realized a few dreams after age 50, including performing with 86 Bullets at the M3 Rock Festival in 2016 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, and being signed to an 86 Bullets' record deal with Melodic Revolution Records.
He has independently released three solo albums since 2020 and one "prequel" unofficial release in 2009. He has recorded two more albums in 2021 and 2022 with Crack The Sky bassist and Maryland Entertainment Hall of Famer Joe Macre. Additionally, all revenues from his CD and download sales have and continue to be, donated to animal rescue organizations.
